Clue Party at Alt Summit

Since the Alt Summit was such an amazing and overwhelming experience, we decided to do several blog post about our experience. One of our favorite nights at Alt was the Clue Party. These girls know how to throw a party! I mean, seriously, the details were amazing, and these photos won’t do it justice. Once we found out about the Clue Party, we immediately started planning our outfits. Natalie already had a fascinator, that she had made, with a peacock on it, so her choice was to dress as Miss Peacock. I had been admiring a mustard dress from Anthropologie, and was so excited to get it on sale! So Colonel Mustard was the character I was going to dress as. I even made a fascinator to match my dress. Our motto for the night “Go big or go home!”

The outfits that people wore that night did not disappoint. Here are some of our favorites…

These beautiful ladies are from Vecco Studios. Aren’t they gorgeous. We love their vintage vibe.

Well hello gorgeous Miss White, in a tulle skirt.

Another fun take on Miss White.

This is the lovely Brittany Jepsen from The House that Lars Built. She created that beautiful fascinator herself out of paper.

Two beautiful stylish girls Ashley and Hilary….. Impossibly Imperfect & Dean Street Society

How fabulous is this ship inspired fascinator that she hand made herself?

Our new adorable friend, Holly, from South Holly Road. She created this fun peacock skirt.

Miss Scarlet and Miss Peacock…

Us with our new friends from Vecco.

One of the highlights of our night was meeting and chatting with Emily Henderson from HGTV.

And all the decor was amazing and it was provided by Joss and Main.

These were hand made by an artisan.

Another favorite part of this event was the photo booth. Here are our photos which were taken by Brooke Dennis, and are available on Flickr

We had so much fun! I’d love to host a party like this one day.

Here we are at the end of the night. And here is a brake down of what we were wearing.

I was wearing a mustard dress from Anthropologie. My tights were from Macy’s. Shoes were from Target, a few years back. I made the fascinator myself. My necklace was a Lulucouture piece from our Lulubelles line. And I was carrying a vintage lucite purse that my mom gave me for Christmas.

Natalie’s look.

Her dress was from Von Maur. Her fur shaw was from Express. Sparkly shoes were from Hype. She was carrying a vintage velvet clutch that she embellished herself. Natalie made her own fascinator. She wore a statement Lulucouture piece from our Lulubelles line.

Hope you feel inspired to host your own clue party! XO
